Benefits Beyond Boundaries: The Fishery Effects Of Marine Reserves

This new study published in the journal Trends in Ecology and Evolution (TREE) shows that protected marine reserves help depleted fish stocks recover. The study analyzes information from more than 60 different marine protected areas around the world, revealing that reserves not only preserve species and their habitats, but also supply fisheries beyond their boundaries.
